Kenneth Paul Hogue, age 73, of Upland, California passed away on Sunday, July 17, 2022. Kenneth was born April 23, 1949 in San Diego, CA to Albert and Marguerite Hogue. He attended school in Ontario, CA and graduated from Chaffey High School and further obtained his Bachelors Degree at Cal State Los Angeles graduating in 1972. While attending college he began dating Sharyn Holloway and she became his beautiful bride in 1976. Kenneth had a long career in Education, teaching at Wiltsey Middle School for 36 years, and truly LOVED his job! As a coach after school, he enjoyed all sports including his time spent with AYSO soccer and Little League Baseball. In his leisure time he enjoyed dirt bike racing, going to the desert, traveling and taking road trips to National Parks and camping with his family. Crystal Cove State Park in Orange County was a favorite family destination every summer with it's beautiful seaside and open space. A natural athlete, Kenneth ran track from High School to College and beyond with the Light Striders running club. He stayed physically active throughout his life whether it was teaching and playing with his middle school students or his own children. Kenneth was preceded in death by his brother John. He is survived by his wife Sharyn, two sons Kevin and Andrew and one granddaughter Kaylee. He is also survived by his brother Marty.
