Mike Wheelden
I went from Chaffey to Brigham Young University. I was there for one semester and returned to Ontario and attended Chaffey College for a semester. I then went on a two year mission for the LDS Church. I returned from my mission and attended University of California at Riverside for a quarter. I then entered the US Air Force for four years. When I got out of the service, I went to San Diego State University and got my BA in painting. I went on to Long Beach State where I got my Masters in Fine Arts in painting and drawing. I taught seminars in art for many years and then I taught as an adjunct at two local colleges for twenty years. I retired in 2015 and I'm happily enjoying my retirement by painting and traveling.
