Candy Tremayne Montoya

My greatest accomplishment in the 50 years since graduating from Chaffey is my daughter who blessed me with twin granddaughters almost 10 years ago. I am a breast cancer survivor of three years and share this to let all women know early detection will save your life and maximize treatment options. I was lucky enough to land a career in the insurance industry handling claims. After working at several insurance companies for about 10 years I was hired by State Farm Fire Claims from which I retired in 2014. Since retiring, I spend much of my time with my granddaughters. We go to local theater productions and participate in other activities, such as painting. My significant other, Fred Sharp, and I enjoy traveling and recently returned from our first ever Alaskan cruise, followed by a few days in Vancouver, BC and in Washington, all of which were fantastic. We also enjoy taking road trips covering California, Nevada, and Arizona and will be going on our longest road trip to Texas soon. I can't wait for our 50th reunion to reconnect, connect, and share life experiences with fellow classmates. Here is a picture of my daughter and me.
